Majestic Deluxe 4 Octave Xylophone, Quint Tuned

The Majestic Deluxe Series 4.0 octave xylophone is ideal for school use, when more range is required. Its synthetic bars, sturdy frame and crank up height adjustment provide reliable versatility. The specially formulated synthetic bars utilise a unique wood grain print process to attenuate unwanted overtones, enhance tonal warmth and control decay.

Quint tuned, this means that the fundamental is tuned as well as the harmonic an octave and a fifth above, rather than only an octave above as is the case with octave tuned xylophone. This ensures fewer harmonic clashes and a more consistent sound when playing across the range of the instrument.

This xylophone also features an easy crank-up height adjustment mechanism for convenient use by a range of heights. The black finish resonators and wood effect synthetic bars add a contemporary, classy look
